The implementation was divided into two stages. The first included the lighting of the Maserati showroom and the La Squadra restaurant located in one of the parts of the showroom. The second stage involved the lighting of the Ferrari showroom.
In the case of this project, we had to reflect the lighting concept received from the Italians. The concept contained guidelines concerning not only the design of the luminaires, but also the quality parameters of light, illuminance, the possibility of directing the luminaires as well as the possibility of controlling both the color of light and its intensity. We used downlights, spots, linear lighting and Tunable White and CASAMBI controls.
Downlight luminaires have been integrated into the interior design, providing subtle lighting while meeting strict requirements. These luminaires undoubtedly give priority to the architecture of the facility and the exposure used. Thanks to the simple design, attention is focused on the presented display - and this was the most important thing in the showroom. The use of linear luminaires gave the possibility of lighting with high uniformity in spaces where it was necessary. In addition, lighting of this type influenced the variety and, in a way, "revived" the ceiling.
Spotlights were used as a complement, both as general lighting, but also as accent lighting. This solution has proven itself perfectly in a car showroom thanks to its exceptional flexibility of use, both in terms of mounting options and directing the light stream to selected elements of the display.
All the luminaires used are characterized by a long service life and do not require time-consuming maintenance. Based on the guidelines received from the Italians, our design department prepared a project of lighting intensity to meet the intensity criterion and we provided patterns of luminaires that met the design criteria. The implementation of the investment also included a lighting test to meet the criterion of light quality parameters - mainly color rendering. The test also concerned the possibility of meeting the criterion of directing the luminaires, so that the lighting could be modified depending on the changing exposure. Color rendering in such a place is extremely important - the ability to change the color temperature and the degree of intensity, so as to simultaneously build the right atmosphere of the place. For this purpose, we used Tunable White luminaires, thanks to which it is possible to smoothly adjust the color temperature from warm to cold white, and thanks to the use of CASAMBI control modules, the luminaires are managed using smartphones. Thanks to the possibility of flexible control, the investor has the opportunity to emphasize the features of the products, bring out the unique character or color at any time.
As an interesting fact: During the annual meeting of dealers, the Ferrari showroom from Katowice received a prestigious award in the competition for the best Ferrari showroom in the world.
